iPhone/iPod Touch SDK

Saturday March 01st 2008, 5:22 pm

So it looks like the SDK is probably going to be released on Thursday. I’ve been not unlocking my iPod Touch in anticipation of this, since I’d rather do things in the approved way and not risk bricking my device. However, there are some rumors floating around that the SDK to be released is going to be severely limited.

Hey Apple, listen up, I want two things:
1) The ability to move PDF’s to my iPod touch’s hard drive (and not just read them out of email or on a website) and read them and preferably bookmark individual pages so I can read ebooks on the device

2) A flash player for the device’s Safari

If you don’t give me these simple things on Thursday, I’m going to jailbreak my device.

That is all.
