Signed up for Facebook too, just to see what that was all about.

I’m really finding myself unimpressed with all the social networking sites. Every once and a while I flirt with the idea of going over to Ning and making my own, perhaps a literary/arts sight that wasn’t as focused on making you type in every damn book in your library like shelfari and sites like that are. I’d need to get other people involved; what’d be cool would be if I could get bloggers like Ed Champion and Daniel Green and Scott Esposito and, I don’t know, the Lit-blog fucking Coop to do it with me and we could all make a social networking site for lit types that wasn’t loaded up with bad software and stupid features.
