Down with Cable

So Adelphia cum Comcast’s cable service was so bad, and the DVR–which was like from 1990 or something–worked so poorly that I finally decided to cancel it. Most of my shows are available from iTunes for $2 a pop, and I did the math and it actually costs me less to buy them that way than to have the cable subscription.

And then of course there’s peer-to-peer downloading which I would never do because it’s illegal and wrong and bad even though it’s absolutely the only way I can watch Torchwood or Primeval.

Primeval rocks by the way. Not that I would know since there’s no legal way for me to watch it in the United States. But it rocks.
