Last night the Simpsons went to the town I live in, Middlebury, VT, and attended a thinly veiled version of the local literary conference, Breadloaf. The show had Michael Chabon and Jonathan Franzan getting into a fist fight, Tom Wolfe making fun of himself, and a cameo from Thomas Pynchon.

May I say: Best. Simpsons. Ever.

Supposedly Alan Moore, Dan Clowes and Art Spiegelman are going to be in an upcoming episode. Is it just me or is the Simpsons turning into lit-geek-atopia?
